A world-leading University renowned for their research is looking to recruit two Assistant Research Contracts Officer's on a permanent basis as a result of significant growth.
As a member in the Research Operations Office you will provide advice and guidance to faculty staff on contractual issues, as well as being responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating research and consultancy contracts. You will also ensure that the School can comply with funder terms and conditions, appropriate due diligence procedures are followed, and the intellectual property, financial security and other interests of the School are protected. You will take responsibility for managing standard contractual tasks through to completion and will assist more senior colleague's with the preparation, negotiation and completion of contractual tasks on the most complex of research projects.
In order to make a success of this role, you will have extensive knowledge of contract law particularly intellectual property, confidentiality, indemnity and publications. Experience working on research contracts within Higher Education would be advantageous.
