Assistant Manager (Shift Leader) - 6 Month Contract

Are you an aspiring leader who constantly demonstrates exceptional customer service? We have a unique opportunity to join an international Christian Children's charity as a Retail Shift Leader focusing on their retail arm based in one the world's largest and exciting retail centres in London.

As a Retail Shift Leader, you will facilitate the Store Manager in delivering the organisation's vision and provide excellent customer service to instill passion for the organization's purpose of helping the world's most vulnerable children. You will have the opportunity to work for a lively, collaborative and supportive team whilst adding value to a credible organisation that works to bring hope to millions of disadvantaged children.

As a Retail Shift Leader, some of your key responsibilities will be:

Facilitate the retail team to exceed retail and sales targets
Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
In the Store Manager's absence, act as manager to inspire and lead the team with any issues, rostering or general practice
Managing daily operations for the store such as monitoring stock levels, replenishing stock and raising stock orders
Managing general administration such as maintaining accurate financial records

As a Retail Shift Leader, you will have the following:

Proven ability to motivate your team members
Ability to work towards personal and team targets and able to achieve these consistently
Excellent communication skills
Experience in a retail, sales, fundraising or customer service based environment is desirable
