TPP’s client is the UK’s leading stroke charity, who have been leading the fight against stroke for over 20 years. The charity is committed to changing the world for people affected by stroke. They influence and campaign to improve stroke care and support people to make the best possible recovery. This is a very exciting time for the charity. 

The Role:

Reporting to the Deputy Director – London, the role will have the focus of a Service Manager to become part of Regional Management Team. You will be responsible for managing front-line staff, and multiple services across London who deliver ‘Life After Stroke’ support to people affected by stroke of all ages. The role also involves working closely with stakeholders from the third sector, health and social care. The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring services meet contract requirements, service development opportunities are identified, and the charity engages with health and community support networks.

About You:

You will have experience of setting up a frontline service or project, and Service Management delivery. You will also have experience of recruiting, training and supporting staff volunteers and managing frontline staff and budgets. You must have knowledge of the NHS, Social Services and volunteer sector, and manging casework. You will have experience and understanding of the community sector, managing staff, an understanding of disability issues, and an ability to empathise with people affected by stroke.
