An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established London homelessness charity as Assistant Head of Partnerships. The charity originated in 1969 from a small group of volunteers who decided to do something to help homeless people. From its first hostel, in a former Marmite factory in Vauxhall, the charity has significantly grown and provides innovative services to help keep the homeless healthy, housed and hopeful.
This role will manage a regional community fundraising team and the corporate team with an income target of £1.3 mil (£800k from corporate). Overall you will manage a team of 10 ambitious fundraisers. Currently the charity operates in 4 areas in the South of England, but they have plans to go national into a further 9 regions. This role will play a crucial part in this development.
You will have experience in at least two of the following areas: Community Fundraising, Challenge Events and Corporate Fundraising with a proven track record. You will also have experience of building, managing and leading teams to achieve fundraising targets. Finally, you will be able to work flexibly at times (time off in lieu will be granted).
