A state of the art Urban Innovation charity based in central London is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager for a fantastic new role. The successful candidate will join the organisation at an exciting time of growth, and will be joining a busy and highly varied organisation.
The role will involve:
-Manage day-to-day running of the front of house and facilities services and ensure the reception is run professionally at all times
-Coordinate hospitality orders, room set ups and forward plan resources, external contractors and the team to ensure smooth logistics and high level of service for events and meetings
-Proactive approach to building services, carrying out daily building walk including all plant rooms
-Proactive approach to Health & Safety for the organisation and within contractor management
-Support Building Manager to ensure that all maintenance in the building meets required service levels and deal with any deficiencies
-Support Building Manager with contractor management - arrange contractor visits, supervise work and all necessary follow-up works
-Support space management and planning for all occupants
-Play part in the delivery and maintenance of the organisation’s health and safety action plan.
-Co-ordinate and plan essential services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling and M&E service
-Prior experience in a busy Facilities role in a complex venue
-Experience supervising team members
-Knowledge of all hard services including BMS
-Experience in Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical & Electrical maintenance and Health and Safety
-Positive and friendly mindset, and the ability to interact with people of all levels
-Experience reviewing contracts and suppliers
