TPP is proud to be working in an exclusive partnership with The Charity for Civil Servants to recruit for an Assistant Director of Fundraising. The position is permanent and paying between £60k to £62k. The organisation is based in Cheam, Surrey but welcomes applicants who wish to work remotely, permanently.
You will be joining a well-established and financially stable charity which has serious growth plans. The Charity provides a range of support to present and former civil servants including their financial dependants - services are provided to assist with financial issues, mental health, disability, relationships, and bereavement.
This is brand a new and exciting opportunity for an ambitious senior fundraiser to provide sound leadership and direction to a vibrant and large fundraising team. The vast majority of fundraising income is derived from regular giving with a strong track record on F2F fundraising. You will lead and provide strategic insight into supporter experience from an acquisition and retention perspective. You will also focus on innovation seeking out and testing new sources of income. This may include digital fundraising along with emerging income sources such as legacy and major donor fundraising. Finally, you will deputise for the Director of Strategic Marketing and Income Generation when required.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong income generation track record and extensive experience of managing senior fundraisers. You will ideally have experience of growing individual giving across multiple channels and developing engaging supporter journeys. You will also have experience of growing income across a range of income sources to develop new fundraising streams. You will possess a strategic mindset with the ability to interpret data/findings and share insights. Finally, you will have excellent people management skills with a natural ability to inspire and influence team members.
