Fantastic opportunity to join a leading medical research charity with ambitious growth plans in a new, Assistant Director of Fundraising role.

The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a leading medical research charity with the search for an Assistant Director of Fundraising. Joining a team with strong growth plans, managing a team of 4 and reporting into the Director of Fundraising, this is a new role that has been designed to bring additional support and focus to the team in order for it to meet challenging targets.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising, you will manage the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy, which will ensure the delivery of a diversified portfolio of income streams with a strong return on investment. Specifically, you will be responsible for income generation from Corporate Partnerships, Trusts, Events, Community Fundraising and you will also have oversight of Digital Fundraising. Providing leadership to the team, you will ensure that goals are set and achieved, and you will continue work to test new fundraising income models.

You'll bring a strong working knowledge of the fundraising landscape and relevant legislation/guidance, be comfortable representing the charity at conferences, events and meetings, and specialist knowledge (and proven track record of income generation) in either Corporate, or broader High-Value fundraising. You will be creative, innovative and confident in providing leadership and mentoring to a small team of staff, along with experience of managing and achieving 7 figure income and expenditure budgets. You'll be a strategic thinker, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
