A leading education charity in East London are recruiting for an Assessor Trainer on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, 17.5 hours per week. Ideally, you'll be able to start work at the beginning of March.

As the Assessor Trainer, you'll be responsible for the assessment of apprenticeship learning in the work place and for supporting the learning of apprentices in line with formal guidelines and internal verification standards.

The role will require you to travel to various locations across London, where the employer partners are based.

You will manage a caseload of up to 20 learners and will liaise with employer line managers regarding apprenticeship progress, arrange progress reviews, support the completion of e-portfolios/workbooks, assist with preparing learners for End Point Assessments and undertake internal verification.

As an Assessor Trainer, you will be committed to ensuring young people achieve their learning goals and will be passionate about seeing young people succeed.

You will work in collaboration with Functional Skills, Tutors, Coaches, Managers and Employers to plan effective interventions to ensure learner progress and success.

To be considered for this Assessor Trainer role, you should already have a proven track record of employment history in a relevant sector and clear evidence of assessing and supporting learners in the work place. You should also hold an IQA qualification with knowledge of both the framework and standards.
