A financial professional body based in the heart of the City of London are recruiting for an Assessment Technical Manager to ensure the smooth running of the end to end awarding body operations from the production and delivery of the assessments and results.
This will include:
Management of assessment systems and question paper and item production process
Planning the assessment delivery cycle
Managing the question item (Multiple Choice Questions) and question paper (essay/assignment) build process within the eAssessment systems, ensuring that all question papers are built to the required quality standards
Ensure all assessment processes adhere to the quality procedures and flag any potential risks or development areas
Manage the production and distribution of the exam results and certificates to students, ensuring all data is correct prior to publication.
Maintain and support the eAssessment system to ensure the system runs as required, and that all changes are designed and tested
Engage with third party providers regularly to ensure performance levels and SLAs are met and maintained.
Understand and manage any system performance issues and ensure resolution or escalation as appropriate.
Produce assessment reports for each assessment unit cycle, utilising data and systems that are available to ensure they are fit for purpose and appropriate to their audience.
As someone who has knowledge of online assessment delivery, is highly IT literate, with a strong aptitude for systems and has excellent communication skills to work with internal colleagues as well as contractors and members, you will work in a fast paced, high pressured environment where you will have the opportunity to take autonomy over the assessment process.
You will be very process driven, and have experience adhering to Ofqual based and/or industry standards and guidelines in terms of assessments and qualifications.
