A values focused awarding body based in the Home Counties are looking to strengthen and grow their successful Awarding team following a period of internal change and are looking for solutions focused change agents who take pride in implementing process change and improvement in order to drive forward a more modern approach to assessment, following organisation's innovative approach to legal education.
The Assessment Operations Manager will lead a team of administrators in the delivery of examinations and assessments including trailblazers and potentially end point assessments. This would encompass the liaising with centres to coordinate the examination and assessment logistics, the recruitment and management of invigilators, the data and report processes around the pre, during and post assessment/examination delivery lifecycle and the results process including moderation and standardisation.
As someone who has knowledge of Ofqual, or a similar AO, you will guide the team in following regulatory standards and look at new ways of implementing this into new assessment processes.
This role will take someone with resilience, such as someone who has gone through a period of change before, and when faced with resistance can instead encourage the new culture by exciting colleagues to join them on the journey by bringing fresh ideas and approaches.
You will be someone that thrives in a fast paced environment and has previous management experience, but also is willing to be hands on in a number of assessment development and delivery areas when required.
