A leading specialist university are looking to recruit an Assessments Officer- Programmes on a 12 month fixed term contract paying £26,600 per annum.

The Assessments Officer will work with the London-based assessments team to ensure that the University provides a high-quality exam management service for their students ensuring that the exams meets the requirements of the University and professional bodies. You will coordinate student examinations and process student concession applications and appeals in a timely manner. You will also lead on the co-ordination and delivery of University-wide Board of Examiners meetings including paperwork preparation and acting as Board Secretary. You will be the main point of contact for students dealing with incoming calls and emails so excellent customer service and problem solving abilities is essential for this role.

To be successful in the role you will have sound customer service experience with an ability to work under pressure to meet multiple/simultaneous deadlines. You will be a self-starter and have an ability to work autonomously. Experience working in an education environment is desirable.
