A leading financial membership body are recruiting for an Assessment Manager with line management experience as well as knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and ideally EPA to lead a small team and pool of associates in the development and delivery of marketing leading assessments.

This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as you will be involved in a tender process for a new assessment platform as well as tasked with developing assessments for a new syllabus being launched in September.
This is a role where you will also be encouraged to look at new and creative assessment methodologies which are able to test both soft and technical skills of students and candidates.

Managing a team of two, you will be up to the challenge of reorganising the team and motivating them through this period of change. You will also be tasked with strategically widening the pool of associates to support with developmental and delivery aspects of assessments.

As someone who has strong knowledge of quality assurance procedures and issues, as well as regulatory and quality assurance frameworks you will support the organisation going through Ofqual recognition as an EPAO, reviewing procedures and making changes to processes accordingly.

On a day to day basis this role will require you to take responsibility for the development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of assessments including the management and training of SMEs and assessors, involvement in key panels and responsibility for marking and results.

This is a busy and challenging role however for the right person there is a great amount of opportunity including being involved from the outset in an e-assessemnt platform tender process, the chance to be creative and look at different styles of assessment methodologies and look at redesigning training and development for internal staff as well as associates.
