£40,000 per annum
Permanent, 37.5 per week
Croydon (office will be moving to South Wimbledon later in 2017)

About the Organisation:
TPP's client is a leading Housing & Support charity in London who provide supported housing for homeless customers with complex needs. They provide solutions to homelessness through shelter, support and advice to over 1500 each year across four London boroughs.

About the role:
The Area Manager for Central & Community services has responsibility for the work of the Quality Team, which includes;

  • Audits, practice and continuous improvement
  • Volunteering
  • Co-production and customer involvement
  • Data and information

And Community services which include;

  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Work & Learning
  • Mentoring project
  • Customer employment

This post holder will line manage the Quality Manager and Community Services managers ensuring that they achieve successful outcomes for customers and funders and ensure their long-term sustainability. The post holder will oversee the work of the quality team including the ongoing development of co-production and involvement, volunteering, quality and information.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the barriers that homeless and vulnerable people face, of policy and service development in order to meet need and overcome these barriers. The successful candidate must have the ability to draw together complex information, identify new or improved service models and influence a range of stakeholders both internal and external.
