We are working with a prestigious University in Central London to recruit an Apprenticeships Manager on a fixed-term contract until July 2021 with a strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. Over the last couple of years this University has embarked on an ambitious programme of change in order to establish a solid operational foundation from which to convert the apprenticeship delivery, previously led within individual schools, into a fully integrated single business programme. The University offers a range of Apprenticeship programmes across Health, Business and Data Science and the income from these programmes is forecast to grow significantly.

We are looking for an Interim Apprenticeships Manager to advise, guide and lead the transition to the new delivery model, including plans for sustainable growth. With support from a strong team of data officers, course officers and staff in the Quality team, you will be pivotal in taking the University to the next stage in the incorporation of Degree Apprenticeship programmes. Acting as an 'internal consultant' you will lead, advise and support the University to establish core documentation and processes that are effective across the Apprenticeship provision and delivery. You will also be responsible for advising and establishing a Central Apprenticeship Hub, including business case development, staff recruitment and systems implementation.

In order to make a success of this role you will have a strong track record in managing apprenticeships from cradle to grave and good knowledge of the ESFA rules and requirements, as well as knowledge of Ofsted Inspection Framework.

This is an incredible opportunity to join the Apprenticeships team at an exciting stage in their journey. As well as a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, you will be entitled to 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and university closure days. The recruitment for this role is going to move very quickly so please do send your CV to education@tpp.co.uk if you are interested.
