A charity who run Apprenticeship programmes for Early Years educators are looking for a full time, permanent Programme Manager to oversee and grow the Apprenticeship division.

As the Apprenticeship Programme Manager, you will be responsible for providing smooth and effective implementation of the Apprenticeship Programme that awards Early Years qualifications and produces outstanding, skilled Early Years professionals.

The charity are looking for someone to play a key role in developing and coordinating their 5 year qualification strategy to increase the number of Early Years Apprenticeships that are offered and completed and essentially, the number of skilled Early Years Educators for the future.

In this role, you will use your exceptional stakeholder management skills to manage existing relationships with training providers and awarding bodies as well as manage training and assessment contracts with partners.

You will take responsibility for the overall design of the training and assessment infrastructure to further cement and grow the organisation-wide apprenticeship programme, linking this to wider Early Years education workforce development and engagement activities.

Importantly, you will also take the lead on upholding the quality assurance and moderation of the assessment activities of the early years apprenticeship qualifications.

To be considered for this role, you must hold an Internal Quality Assurance of assessment processes and practice qualification. It will be highly advantageous if you have an Early Years Education qualification or experience delivering the Early Years curriculum but those without specific Early Years sector knowledge can still be considered.

You must also have 2-3 years of pre-existing experience and skills relating to the new apprenticeship standard, effective management or coordination of an internal training function and experience delivering and or managing apprenticeships or other accredited training programmes.

This charity are looking for someone who is passionate about making a social impact. The Apprenticeship division's goals are not about the quantity of apprenticeships they can offer, but about the quality of Early Years Educators that emerge through completion of the programme.
