Agile Consultant - Interim - 3 days per week

Our client a leading health charity are seeking an experienced Agile Consultant to come on board to support to design and support the implementation of an organisation re-induction programme for existing staff and volunteers to understand and buy-into an agile approach to working, as well as design and embed an internal communications plan around the culture move to agile working, this sits hand in hand with an office move planned in May 2020.

Main areas of work:

  • Build and disseminate a communication plan, with the Communication Team, to build the awareness, benefits and culture working in an agile way
  • Develop resources to enable teams to understand and operate in a way that facilities cross-team working
  • Develop training that embeds an understanding of innovation, enterprise and piloting that can practically be utilised across the organisation
  • Support the implementation of a new suite of IT tools (video conferencing, multi-workstation working, working offsite, onsite and at the most appropriate times)
  • Support teams in understanding volunteering opportunities within a more flexible and fluid team structure and the value add of volunteers
  • For managers to confident in the meaning and application of matrix management, managing change and managing remote workers
  • Develop, with the Communication Team, an internal campaign and handbook that pulls together the strands above to ensure there is a shared identity to deliverables


  • Experience of managing multi-stream projects
  • Experience of supporting organisation culture change projects
  • Knowledge and experience of agile working
  • Experience of developing organisational communication plans, campaigns and/or messages
  • Ability to create and deliver organisational materials to guide and support culture change
  • Ability to develop training materials for face-to-face, virtual and on-demand training
  • Experience of supporting a technical change in IT approach and solutions
  • Experience of supporting and/or implementing innovative work approaches as part of a change in organisational culture
  • Ability to manage a range of stakeholders at various levels (both internal and external)
