Job Role: Admissions Officer (CAS)

Pay rate: £17.58 p/h + holiday pay

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday-Friday (Hybrid working, 1 day onsite)

Location: South East London

Contract: Mid January

Join a leading specialist university located in the heart of London's creative community, easily accessible via DLR or the Jubilee line.

Your main job role as an Admissions Officer is to ensure the efficient management of the admissions process, ensuring that applications to all levels are dealt with in a timely manner, whilst providing the highest level of customer service.

You will be required to be on-site once a week for until Mid January however this can be discussed at interview.

As an Admissions Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring admissions processes are operated within the legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate academic qualifications, both from the UK and overseas
  • Make course offers and liaise with applicants
  • Ensure an excellent level of customer service is provided to all stakeholders

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Experience of HE admissions particularly in issuing CAS letters or PRE CAS checks
  • Knowledge of UKVI regulatory framework and compliance.
  • Experienced of working with Moodle or other Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is preferred
  • Experience of working with a Student Records Systems/Databases/CRM systems
