A top University are looking for a temporary Admissions Assistant to start immediately paying £16.02 per hour plus holiday pay. This role will last until the 19th December.
You will undertake a number of administrative duties/responsibilities associated with the processing of applications for admission to the University.This will include, but not be limited to:
- Processing the receipt of references in support of applications
- Assessing applications for admission in line with College entry requirements and documented procedures/policies
- Processing of documentation received by the admissions department
- Handling enquiries in the context of admission to the College, either via email or telephone.
In order to make a success of this role you will have administrative experience within higher education and be be IT literate and comfortable using databases to access and update information. Appropriate candidates will have a professional manner and good work ethic, with customer service skills, a team-working approach and appreciation for the cultural sensitivity and confidentiality of records.
