A professional membership organisation is hiring for an Administrative Assistant to provide key administrative support across the organisation to help ensure that the professional standards promoted to and adhered to by the organisation and its partner members are up to date, fit for purpose, and conform to statutory requirements where relevant.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will work collaboratively within the organisation's governance structure, join committee, and professional standards teams, as well as with the wider organisation providing varying administrative support. This can involve assisting with the preparation and testing of annual return compliance processes, assisting with the recording of risk assessments, collating preparation information for audit visits, assisting with the chasing of outstanding returns, monitoring members' responses to correspondence regarding annual return cases, CPD audits, and action points following audit visits, and chasing up as required by phone or email. Your role can also include taking meeting notes, arranging meetings, sending out bulk email/hard copy communications, extracting reports from the CRM, and monitoring team inboxes to ensure emails are answered and recorded appropriately.
You will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in an administrative role
* Strong organisation skills
* Good IT and internet skills
* Good understanding of and competent user of CRMs
* Capable of and comfortable with liaising with members of the organisation at all levels
* Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative as well as a team member
* Excellent attention to detail
* Flexible mindset and willing to learn new skills
* Conscientious and thorough approach to work
