A global awarding body are recruiting for an Access, Inclusion and Adverse Circumstance Team Leader to manage two team members and work with their schools on a global basis to ensure the smooth running of their highly respected examinations.
You will lead the team in investigating and deciding on courses of action around reasonable adjustments and special considerations due to special educational needs and extenuating circumstances.
As someone who is able to understand educational reports and interpret the needs of candidates, you and the team will work closely across the organisation to communicate and action the requirements to ensure each student as a fair opportunity to complete their assessments, whilst ensuring internal policies and standards are adhered to.
Coming from a similar background in an education setting, or as someone who is well versed in equality and diversity, SEN or access and inclusion, you will be ready to take your first step into a management role or have existing management experience.
Initially a 6month contract to cover a busy period as their northern hemisphere schools go into exam season, this is a new role with the opportunity to become permanent should you make a lasting and high impact effect on the running of examinations.
