TPP are working with a world- leading higher education organisation who offer premium education in hospitality and event, sport and entertainment management for over 50 years. Today, with campuses globally and online, the organisation specializes in preparing graduates for international careers in globally influential companies.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join the Academic Office team. The role focuses on processing T4 visas and providing high-level support for the students and academic staff. You will have sound administrative experience with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work. You will be able to multi-task and move between tasks within the organisation at short notice to meet deadlines. The role involves using initiative and will require high levels of detailed data entry. You will work collaboratively with team members and will be required to answer enquiries from internal and external sources in a professional and customer-focused manner. The international environment and being the first point of contact for students, make this a rewarding role. The key areas of responsibility being to:

  • Advise students on UK visa requirements and assist them with their applications
  • Use the UKVI SMS to issue CAS's and liaise with UKVI to resolve queries
  • Maintain records on the status of all applications and provide regular updates
  • Assist with the planning, co-ordination and successful implementation of Arrivals and Induction Days
  • Provide academic administration for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes including coordinating timetable, examination and Progression Board arrangements and monitoring student attendance
  • Providing a 5* Reception service to students, staff and visitors

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Previous administration experience within higher education
  • Experience of managing all aspects of admissions within a Tier 4 Sponsoring organisation would be an advantage
  • Familiar with working in and supporting a small team, experience in an international environment would be a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Professional, reliable individual with a strong customer focus orientation
  • Excellent spoken and written English required; other languages an advantage
