The Fundraising & Development team at TPP are hosting a Fundraising workshop - Managing Fundraising teams through change.

The interactive session will be hosted by Annie Clarke, Director of Annie’s Training Company, and Karen Bolton, Head of Community and Events Fundraising Marketing and Innovation at Mind. The workshop will share the experiences of the Community and Events Fundraising Marketing and Innovation team at Mind in 2018 as they went through significant changes to respond to the ever-growing needs of the organisation and it’s supporters.

Attendees will hear from Karen Bolton about the rationale, planning and positioning of the changes as well as sharing practical tools and techniques for the dealing with the challenges of managing teams through change.

Karen will offer guidance on the importance of developing individual and collective leadership, ways to empower staff through change and the power of using external facilitation to support the change process.

Karen will be joined by Annie Clarke who designed and delivered a range of learning solutions to support the change process including facilitation techniques, resilience and a range of experiential learning activities to explore the changes in a safe and constructive way whilst also achieving commitment and buy-in.

Annie will share her external perspective of the challenges of managing teams through change and highlight the factors required for teams to reach their potential and achieving high performance status.

Three takeaways from the session will be:

  1. Techniques for communicating change across the organisation
  2. Practical tools for achieving buy-in and responding to challenges
  3. Criteria that defines high performing teams in periods of change
