Internal recruitment offers huge advantages to any organisation. In most cases, internal recruiters understand in depth the organisations values, goals and requirements. They can reduce recruitment costs immediately and for future projects and often lead to higher retention rates due to their understanding of a ‘good fit’ for the organisation.
In smaller organisations however, they may lack the funding for multiple resources for candidate sourcing and access to passive applicants, which could limit the number of candidates for each role and lead to longer recruiting times.
