What our staff say

What's it like working for TPP? Hear from some of our consultants below...

Sean Brinkley, Consultant, TPP HR & Specialist Support

What did you do before joining TPP?
HR Recruitment Administrator for the University I studied my HR degree! I obviously loved the University so much I decided to work there for two years! No rest for the wicked though, I started with the HR team 2 days after handing my dissertation in…  Before that I was working in a variety of interesting bars and pubs throughout Essex.

Why did you choose to join TPP?
I love working in a team. Initially I was sceptical, I’d heard a lot about consultancies and thought the stereotypical perception wouldn’t suit what I was looking for. After reading TPP’s principles as ‘pre-interview reading’ I felt it could be a great fit and when I actually met the team, I was really keen to start. For me, it’s all about the environment I’m working in, if it’s interactive, engaging and somewhere that’s looking to develop my skills, it’s somewhere I jump at the chance to work.

What’s the best thing about your job?
My marvellous team! It’s a supportive environment, where we’re focussed and driven to succeed but at the same time we can have a laugh! Something that makes the challenging times all that much easier.

What’s the achievement you are most proud of?
Graduating from the trainee scheme and becoming a fully-fledged consultant. I started the scheme in the October of 2014, graduating in March the following year. Whilst undergoing the scheme, I was supporting a Business Manager resourcing candidates, but ever since becoming a consultant I’ve been recruiting to a number of NFPs.
