Practice Manager Jobs

TPP Healthcare place a wide range of Practice Managers within challenging roles throughout private clinics and the NHS. With frequent changes to the Healthcare sector, the roles will range from Managers who deal with the day to day running of the organisation to Managers who are more involved with the business aspect.

Responsibilities & duties for Practice Managers

The roles can differ depending on the size and nature of the practice or clinic but could include the recruitment and training of staff, managing the support team, ensuring that all health and safety guidelines are adhered to, dealing with budgets, working towards targets, dealing with complaints and overseeing the daily running of the organisation to allow the clinical staff to concentrate on the care of the patients.

Skills required for Practice Managers

Whilst practice management jobs have no direct career path, they require experience in managing and motivating people as well as direct experience of working within the healthcare sector. They can be challenging roles, but extremely rewarding, which ensures the best level of care for patients. AMSPAR run courses in practice management which is a widely recognised qualification in the healthcare sector.
