TPP are recruiting a Welfare Manager to a leading learning disability charity that challenges prejudices surrounding learning disability and supports those who are affected on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will have managerial experience in the Care or Education sector, as well as experience in managing restricted budgets with a can-do attitude.
The job calls for an individual who has impeccable communication skills with the knowledge of the welfare support required to those with learning disabilities. You'll line manage the Welfare team, ensuring the service delivered is of an exceptional standard, acting on any quality improvements as required to ensure the charities brand is upheld in a positive light. In addition, the candidate will support a variety of ongoing activities whilst contributing to future projects including Carer Peer Support, Adult Social Activities and Adult Education.
The successful individual will have demonstrable experience of organising and reviewing Adult Social Activities coupled with the ability to work empathetically with the charities customers.
Experience of completion and submission of Monitoring Data Analysis accurately is essential. The candidate will also have a Level 5 qualification in Care or Education (minimum).
Working in partnership with adults with learning disabilities; exploring their needs and future aspirations is at the heart of this role.
