|Job Title||Volunteer Fundraising & Development Assistant - EXPIRED|
|Job Published||15 Dec 2014|
The Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College (ORNC) has been recently awarded a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to undertake the second phase of the conservation works in the Painted Hall. The programme of works includes conservation, capital works, and a range of public engagement activities. The programme will enable visitors to see at first-hand how the conservation is going, and to take part in a range of different activities bringing the history and stories of the Painted Hall to life. A new visitor route will form part of the work – with conservation and capital works designed to make this accessible to visitors and encourage more interaction with the site as a whole.
The Development Phase of the Programme will take place from December 2014 to September 2015 and is a crucial phase of the work, enabling the organisation to refine thinking, draw up comprehensive plans and prepare for the submission of the 2nd round HLF application and if successful the subsequent delivery of the work.
The purpose of this role is to assist the project development team of the Greenwich Foundation in preparing the second-round Heritage Lottery Fund application for the project “Conservation of the Painted Hall: phase two”, and in raising partnership funding.
