A brand new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Business Fundraising Co-ordinator to assist in getting local business and corporate support for a major fundraising campaign in the local area.
We’re looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and creative to help the RNLI to attract new business/corporate supporters from the local community to support a major fundraising campaign. This role would suit somebody who has good interpersonal skills with knowledge of the local area and who is willing to develop relationships with local shops, businesses and organisations in order to build up support. If you are outgoing with a proactive nature and willing to spare a couple of hours each week in order to help increase the level of support from the local business community, we would love to hear from you.
This role will involve reaching out to and engaging with the local business community through a combination of existing RNLI contacts, new RNLI contacts and contacts that you will research, get in touch with and develop yourself. Throughout you will have the support of the local Community Fundraising Manager who will offer guidance to assist in your endeavours.
