Why the RNLI needs this role

This role will help us save lives at sea by raising income from selling a range of RNLI souvenirs and gifts at local events.

Potential time comm itment:
Team :  Fundraising & Communications
Location:  Port of Liverpool
Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager

  Comply w ith the Volunteer Commitment
  Provide an attractive w ell stocked sales display at local events through sound merchandising and stock management.
  Stock ordering and completion of relevant  financial  records.
  Recording and banking of sales income
  Complete branch/guild annual  stock take.
  Sales of souvenirs and gifts and/or delegating this task to other members of the branch as required.
  Encourage and w elcome a diverse group of new members/suppor ters into the RNLI

Measures of Success
  Branch/shop financial targets met or exceeded
  Being  constantly mindful of fundraising costs vs. benefit to the organisation
  Promoting and upholding the reputation of the RNLI w ithin the community

Training and Support
  Training to fulfil your volunteer role w ill be provided if required
  The RNLI w ill aim to provide opportunities for personal development in your volunteer role
