TPP are working with a national medical research charity looking for a fundraising professional to join their highly impressive fundraising family and lead on trusts fundraising. Reporting into the Director of Fundraising, this post will be responsible for personally generating income as well as writing and implementing a strategy for income growth. This is a crucial time for trusts fundraising at this organisation and is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to make their mark.
The trusts team at the moment generates £250,000, but this has traditionally mostly been from a large number of small applications. They are changing their focus to be more efficient, applying primarily for fewer, higher value grants. Because of this, the post will be largely new business to begin with; they have budgeted for the target to grow over the next few years.
We are looking for an exceptional trusts fundraiser with experience of achieving significant income targets and ideally of managing teams to do the same. You will be proactive, have excellent written communication skills, and be adept at building relationships with funders. You will be used to working to income targets at this level, ideally higher and you will have a track record of securing 6-figure+ donations.
