Citizens Advice Lewisham helps thousands of people each year to gain access to justice, preventing homelessness, tackling discrimination, resolving debt problems, and maximising incomes for some of the most vulnerable groups in our area.
We also campaign to bring about improvements for local people, from tackling illegal money lending to sharing evidence on the experiences of people who have experienced domestic violence.
As a Trustee of our charity you'll be helping to make the decisions about how we make sure our work responds to the needs of local communities, makes the best use of the resources we've got available, and is always of the highest quality.
Working with a friendly team of Trustees, and alongside our experienced Chief Executive and staff and volunteer team, you'll get the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, be involved in influencing change at a strategic level, and make a real difference to the lives of people across our borough.
We're keen to make sure we hear the voice of the whole community in Lewisham, so welcome applications from people from all walks of life regardless of ethnicity, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
Application: CV highlighting relevant skills and experience you will bring to the role along with a cover note briefly explaining why you would like to be a trustee of Lewisham CAB.
