This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly international organisation to develop and implement new and innovative fundraising strategies to raise income from a wide base of supporters. The role will be responsible for ambitious annual targets in line with the charity's five year strategic growth plan.
You'll be leading on the development and implementation of the organisation's supporter engagement strategy, creating plans to deliver and drive on going growth across their supporter base, primarily through individual giving but also through leading internal teams responsible for community, events, legacy and in memoriam fundraisers.
Key responsibilities include:
*Work with senior management to grow fundraised income from £1.6m in 2015 to £2.5m (across all income streams) by the end of 2019
*To directly lead plans to grow supporter income from £185,000 in 2015 to £565,000 by 2019
*To lead on the development of a highly engaged and highly active supporter base which will generate substantial revenue for the organisation in the long-term
*To be personally responsible for hitting financial targets and KPIs and work collaboratively with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across the organisation
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
*Extensive experience in fundraising with proven examples of successfully generating substantial income from supporters through individual giving
*Outstanding communication skills, able to manage successful relationships with a range of different internal teams and individuals
*Experience of delivering large scale fundraising projects and campaigns to deadline and to budget
*Experience of managing a fundraising team
