Job Description - EXPIRED

This consumer advocacy organisation is currently searching for a Senior Campaigner with experience of running Public Affairs campaigns. This is a critical position in their campaigns team, with a focus on giving light to key issues and enacting real change. The salary position is up to £33,000.

This role - working with the Campaign manager, will be required to deliver stand-alone and short term campaigns, which will ultimately be in-line with the wider campaign strategy. You will be advocating for the individual cause during this time, but also promoting your organisation and its mission statement. You will be tasked with ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in the campaigns, and ensuring maximum impact by working collaboratively with other teams internally and suitable external stakeholders. You will monitor and evaluate your campaigns on a consistent basis, identifying achievements and potential improvements. You will be a trusted representative of the organisation at senior stakeholder events and meetings.

To be a successful applicant in this role you must have experience of campaigning - preferably in a public affairs setting. You must have excellent project management skills and the ability to express complex policy solutions to identified issues clearly and simply. You will have a sound understanding of how political, regulatory and social change is enacted and possess the ability to identify the best advocacy targets to enact this chance. An understanding of consumer principles and policy would be preferable.

TPP is committed to equal opportunities and actively encourages applications from all sectors of the community. We shortlist based on competencies and not on race, religion, sex, physical or mental disability, or age.
