Our client is a disabled children's charity that is looking for a home-based Regional Services Co-Ordinator. This is a fixed-contract position until December 2017.
The organisation are initiating a programme offering a variety of opportunities to young wheelchair users, so that they can obtain vital life skills.
The Regional Services Co-Ordinator will ensure the services in Eastern England are functioning to high standards and connected with relevant events/clubs. The successful candidate will observe that all services work in unison with each other. They will also cultivate a team of trainers, volunteers and young leaders.
Our client is seeking someone who has front-line experience working with physically-disabled children, starting up services/clubs and be able to manage projects from start to finish. Knowledge of child protection, disability and equal opportunity laws will be essential within this role.
The Regional Services Co-Ordinator is a home-based role however the successful candidate will be expected to travel to a range of locations in Eastern England. Travel expenses will be covered by the organisation (Licence and access to vehicle is essential for this role).
This role is 37.5 hours per week and offering a salary of £25,000-£29,000 (depending on experience) + benefits.
