Project Development Manager – J56609JH

We are recruiting for a Project Development Manager for approximately 5 months, for a national charity for single homeless people.

This contract is paying from £38,000 - £42,000 pro rata with a possibility to go permanent.

Main duties:

•Help define the client outreach and referral arrangements for the project
•Work with project partners to map existing provision and complementary services in the target area
•Work with project partners to further refine delivery plans and management arrangements
•Work with the Head of Client Involvement to assess and recommend options for service user consultation or co-production
•Help establish the project governance structures, such as the project steering group and client advisory group and develop their terms of reference
•Help ensure project management and monitoring systems across the partnership comply with ESF and Big Lottery Fund requirements
•Build and manage effective relationships with project partners and prospective clients

Person specification:

•Experience of successfully developing and/or delivering high value partnership projects
•Experience of successfully developing and/or delivering projects funded by the European Social Fund
•Experience of developing detailed project plans, project risk assessments and project management systems
•Working knowledge of all aspects of a project lifecycle
•Experience of working with senior members of staff to deliver projects successfully
•Excellent analytical skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences
•Good time management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver within tight timescales
•Ability to provide sound advice and judgement based on knowledge and understanding, particularly when required to make quick decisions
•Good IT skills, including ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and databases
•Able to work flexible hours as required
