Programme Officer - 6 Months
£22,471 - £25,000pa - pro rata
Our client a membership body for health professionals is seeking an experience Programme Officer for a period of 6 months.
The Programme Officer will be responsible for project managing a range of projects and programmes within the Clinical Innovation and Research Center, including the Supporting Carers in General Practice Programme. The aim is to develop clinical excellence through audit and effectiveness, service development and research projects.
You will have experience in project management, including managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will also have skills in preparing funding bids and governance procedures. Knowledge or experience of the National Health Service would be desirable.
The key responsibilities for this role include tracking project progress and producing regular project summaries, risks assessments and financial reports, developing and maintaining channels of communication with key internal staff and external contacts, communicating up-to-date and high quality information through a range of channels, working with the Programme Manager to identify and engage with potential new stakeholders, and contributing to the development of strategic and operational plans.
Essential Personal Specification:
Educated to degree level (or relevant professional qualification / experience)
Recognised project management training
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proven time management skills demonstrated by ability to work effectively under pressure, to prioritise and to deliver to tight deadlines
Proven project management skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to deal tactfully and sensitively with a wide range of people including senior members of the health care professions, patients and commercial organisations
Functions well as part of a multi-disciplinary project team and communicates effectively with team members
Income generation and budget management
Self starter with a high level of initiative and willingness to take responsibility
Effective team worker
6 Month contract
£22,471 - £25,000pa (pro-rata)
