A leading health charity is seeking an experienced PA to assist the Director of External Affairs by providing secretarial/administrative support, team support and administration functions along with project work where necessary.
Key tasks for the PA to Director of External Affairs:
*Responsibility for the development and coordination of administration systems
*Diary management for Director of External Affairs and supporting diary management for other Directors of Communications
*Planning and preparation of agendas, papers and minutes for meetings and working groups - noting action points and following up where necessary
*Overseeing processes of payments using Director's credit card on behalf of the Director and team (tracking expenditure)
*Handling incoming calls where necessary
*Providing administrative support to the External Communication team i.e. travel arrangements, telephone messages, arranging meetings etc
Essential criteria for the PA to Director of External Affairs:
*Significant PA/secretarial/administrative experience including diary management, taking minutes, organising meetings, project work etc
*GCSE (or equivalent) passes in English and Maths
*Ability to use IT systems such as Microsoft Office and Internet
*Excellent attention to detail with strong eye for detail and seamless organisation skills
*Very high standard of written and spoken communication skills
