TPP's client, a national children's charity are looking to recruit a Night Project Worker for one of their Services in East London.
Our client is a well-established charity who has been operational for over 100 years. They are dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and hard to reach children and young people.
The service itself is a short breaks respite service for children and young people with learning disabilities and/ or challenging behaviour.
The role of the Night Project Worker is to work directly with the children and young people as part of a team to achieve the aims set for the project and organisation. The role entails participating verbally and written, in handover sessions at the beginning and ending of each shift. Also, to ensure the safety, wellbeing and dignity of every young person whilst mainlining their physical and emotional care. The Night Project Worker will need to be aware of each young person's care/ Action Plan and ensure this is followed at all times and ensure daily records are completed.
To be considered for this role you will need to hold a NVQ level 3 in caring for Children and Young People or equivalent. Also, experience of working with children and young people within a residential environment. You will also need to have paid or voluntary experience of working with children or young people with a learning disability or challenging behaviour.
