This national youth disability charity are looking for a Fundraising Manager - Major Donors to lead on major donor relationships for their capital appeal and other big projects. Based in a London hub, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for drawing a recent capital appeal to a close, including arranging events connected to the new building and further cultivation of key donors. The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for devising a major donor programme to nurture the contacts made in the duration of the appeal, stewarding them to further gifts and working towards the next big project. You will line manage two members of staff.
The ideal candidate:
You will have significant experience of major donor fundraising, including making personal face to face asks and preparing senior management for meetings; you will ideally have capital appeal experience; you will be proactive and have the ability to set up a new major donor programme; you will have experience of events.
