A large national charity is seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to lead on the development and maintenance of the charities information services. (online, pint and telephone services).
Main duties for the Knowledge Manager:
To oversee the delivery and development of specialist assistive related technology
Manage the review cycle of all advice content
Draft, edit and amend compelling text
Use IT and CRM system to track activity
External and internal stakeholder management- liaising with professionals to update information and content
Lead on compliance within information standards
Work with the research team to design information projects
Essential criteria for the Knowledge Manager:
Experience of designing, constructing and maintaining in house databases
Ability to provide strategic views on development of knowledge management systems
Experience of using performance management approaches
Experience of networking with communities using a number of tools including social media
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interpret complex information and produce accessible copy
