This well established mental health charity are seeking an experienced Information Governance (IG) Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the implementation of the organisation's IG framework and strategy.
Main responsibilities for the Information Governance Manager include:
*Implement the IG framework and strategy
*Ensure compliance around statutory and regulatory obligations
*Support the organisation around joint bids
*Produce regular reports on IG to the IG Leadership Group
*Reviewing and updating the content of the AFC's policies and procedures
that support IG requirements
*Produce, maintain, update and deliver the IG audit programme
Essential criteria for the Information Governance Manager include:
*Knowledge and experience of meeting legal compliance requirements
surrounding legislation such as the Data Protection Act
*Experience of developing or implementing IG processes
*Excellent presentation and communication skills
*Experience of report writing
*Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and
*Delivering governance training (desirable)
