A well-established NFP organisation are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team for an initial 12 month contract.
The successful candidate will need previous experience of managing recruitment, selection and coordinating of training courses. You will also be required to sit on the panel for all interviews conducted as the organisations HR representative.
Main duties for the HR Officer:
To manage and coordinate all applications for roles within the organisation
Shortlist candidates as per person spec and job description, making recommendations to line managers
To work closely with line managers and coordinate and prepare interview questions per position
Coordinate with HR admin to advise feedback and updates to candidates on outcome of roles
To plan and coordinate training courses
To maintain employee records making induction, leavers, sickness and absence
To support with contracts for temporary/ casual staff
Essential criteria for the HR Officer:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Previous experience of managing recruitment and selection at a senior level
Experience of conducting and leading interviews
Experience of using HR software/ information systems
Excellent communication skills
Experience of managing general HR queries
Knowledge of data protection legislation
