TPP’s client, a visionary national children’s services provider is recruiting for a highly motivated Head of Safeguarding based in Ilford, Essex.
About the charity:
Our client has been pivotal in sculpting many of the changes to children’s services we have seen develop over the years, with their innovative projects, service provisions and general support and expertise they have and continue to input into the sector with the key aim of transforming children’s lives.
About the role:
As the Head of Safeguarding you will report directly into the Corporate Leadership Team working closely with Senior Directors and their managers to enable them to effectively respond to, manage and mitigate safeguarding risk in relation to children, young people and adults whom the organisation supports.
You will endeavor to impact, share learning and influence across the sector. Being the Safeguarding champion of the organisation you will ensure that they continue to deliver and develop best practice across the organisation.
To be considered for this job you will be required to demonstrate senior leadership experience of the management and promotion of safeguarding practice across a diverse and complex orgnaisation. You will be able to demonstrate how you can influence best practice. You will need to be a qualified social worker with expert knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to safeguarding.
