This much loved Health Charity in Manchester is looking for a Head of Fundraising to significantly contribute to the planning and implementation of the annual integrated fundraising plan, taking responsibility for developing and delivering all fundraising income streams across the charity, circa £14m pa. The Head of Fundraising will write and implement a strategy to deliver the targeted income for the community, sporting events, direct marketing, major relationships, legacy, corporate, funeral and individuals income streams which make up charity fundraising team.
Reporting into the Director of Fundraising & Corporate Affairs you will be responsible for line managing the charity team managers to ensure they are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives, meet targets and to recruit to those posts as necessary.
This is such an exciting opportunity to head op the team for a renowned charity. The Head of Fundraising will need the following experience:
-Proven fundraising experience of managing a board range of fundraising income streams with significant income targets achieved and evidenced growth.
-Experience of delivering significant growth within a range fundraising income streams.
-Strong demonstrable experience of project management including the setting, managing and monitoring of budgets.
-Experience of managing and leading other colleagues; driving a culture of innovation.
-Experience of working in partnership with third party organisations and or agencies.
-Proven ability to assess and manage risk in terms of reputation/financial and event related.
-Demonstrate a high competence of project management with the ability to interpret situations and take appropriate action.
-Experience of working with HNWI, at Board level and with senior figures in the business community to influence new opportunities for the charity.

Please note this role is NHS Band 8b please note that starting salary will be at the lower end of the pay scale with the opportunity to develop and increase to the top amount in post
