A national charity committed to supporting those with barriers relating to disability, health and those in disadvantaged circumstances to find employability, independence and greater inclusion in society are looking to recruit an Employment Adviser on their Work Programme. This is a temporary position with the opportunity of a permanent contract based in Hounslow looking to pay £23,767- £25,491 per annum.

The role will be responsible for building key relationships with employers and canvassing clients for potential vacancies, as well as supporting customers in reaching their personal goals and objective and enabling customers to move into relevant and sustainable employment. You must be results-driven, but also aware that your candidates may be vulnerable and that for many employers hiring people with long term disabilities may be new and unchartered territory. The employers the charity works with include charities, SMEs and major FTSE 100 companies committed to diversity and social mobility.

Skills and attributes required:
Relevant previous experience in working with clients on employment focused programmes
Motivated by working to set targets
Experience in working in a business development role
Flexibility to cope with the varying demands of the role and achieve the desired results
Ability to problem solve and respond appropriately to a variety of situations
Experience working with ESA cleints
Positive attitude to disability, health problems and employment problems
Ability to manage and support a caseload and achieve targets for progression
Good organisational skills
Good IT skills
Ability to encourage, persuade and motivate at all levels
Experience working on the work programme would be advantageous
