The world's original and largest certification body for auditors of management systems has a unique opportunity for an Education Officer to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the qualifications are delivered in line with requirements and to the highest possible standard.
The Education Officer's main responsibilities will include:
Being the main point of contact for all education related enquiries via phone or email, and providing a high quality, knowledgeable service within an appropriate time frame.
Working closely with partner organisations to ensure that they have everything they need to run successful and professional qualifications (i.e. registration forms, assignment briefs, materials, etc).
Accurately registering students for qualifications and unit entries (exams or assignments), providing
them with accurate confirmation and guidance as required.
Liaising closely with the examiners, ensuring they are kept up to date with the requirements of
moderation and marking processes, and making sure deadlines are met.
Liaising with examination centres, sending out examination materials and making sure that all
documents are received back after the examinations are complete. Invigilating exams if necessary.
Uploading the assessment results onto the system and sending out accurate assessment results to the students within required deadlines.
Conducting and analysing student and partner organisation surveys on regular basis.
Updating and maintaining monthly education statistics.
Taking responsibility for the team's administrative tasks, which currently includes dealing with invoices, receipts and processing payments in line with the Finance Team's processes. Chasing payments when required.
Identifying opportunities for sharing knowledge and promoting qualifications (Quality World articles, adverts).
Supporting colleagues within the Learning and Development Team as required.
Working collaboratively and effectively with colleagues across the organisation on cross-team
Undertaking testing of system and/or process developments where required. Acting as an ambassador for the CQI, representing the organisation internally and externally.
The essential criteria for the Education Officer are:
Strong attention to detail, able to work accurately and effectively. Able to take personal responsibility for managing own workload, multi-tasking where required.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly, professionally and engagingly on the
telephone, and to write grammatically correct and professional emails in accordance with agreed style guides.
Problem solving and open to change. Able to think outside the box and seek solutions using the
Proactive and able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team. Demonstrating a positive
attitude and the ability to influence colleagues and members.
Sees the bigger picture and able to apply it to decision making.
Educated to A-level of equivalent (degree standard would be an advantage).
Customer services experience, including having had responsibility for complex administrative processes
