This internationally renowned UK cultural institution is recruiting for a Donor Development Officer to implement and deliver the organisation direct marketing strategy. Key duties within this position include:
Undertake strategic research, planning and monitoring to establish a successful individual giving programme
Recruit target numbers of new supporters using a mix of media and a range of compelling asks including direct mail
Produce analysis for each campaign, and applying findings to future appeals and campaigns
Undertaking data selection for mailings
Managing and maintaining excellent relationships with agencies, fulfilment and print houses
Write copy for marketing materials and design some marketing materials
Create and implement a donor stewardship journey
Produce newsletters and stewardship type communications for a broad range of donors
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a fundraising direct marketing environment
Experience of project managing multiple fundraising campaigns from concept to delivery, managing budgets and relationships with agencies
Proven ability to monitor projects, produce reports and analysis of campaign results
Experience of monitoring income and expenditure budgets
Excellent communication skills with the ability to accurately produce and proof copy
