Looking for an exciting opportunity to progress within direct marketing fundraising?
I'm working with a leading, international healthcare charity to find a Donor Development Manager who will be a key member of the charity's fundraising team with specific responsibility for the day-to-day management of direct marketing and telemarketing campaigns.
Reporting directly to the Head of Fundraising, this is a temporary role for 3 months but is an excellent opportunity for any direct marketing fundraising who is looking to broaden their skills before progressing upwards within the charity sector.
Key responsibilities include:
*Manage the charity's core direct marketing activities, including working with telemarketing agencies to prepare and monitor all aspects of campaigns and contributing to the development of new direct mail packs and marketing collateral
*Analyse the results of direct marketing campaigns, reviewing their performance against both budget and targets, using your findings to make recommendations for future improvements
*Competitively monitor the direct marketing activities of other charities in order to inform your ideas around designing new appeals and campaigns
*Work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues from across the charity in order to meet fundraising targets but also organisational-wide objectives
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
*Relevant experience of managing regular giving programmes and producing copy for appeal letters and telemarketing scripts
*Project management experience, ideally within a charity environment
*Confidence in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority
*Ability to be creative in order to promote the work of the charity to a diverse range of audiences
*Ability to juggle your time effectively in order to meet tight deadlines
