I am very excited to be working alongside a fantastic National Children's Charity to help find them their next Community Fundraising Manager with in Derbyshire. We are looking for someone who can 'hit the ground running' and who is an excellent communicator in order to build up and manage current and new relationships within the area. You will also be equipped with a strategic mind set and be focus as you will be working in a fast pace environment. In addition to this you will understand the vital contribution that volunteers and donors make and the important of a flexible approach in supporting them and have an exuberant passion for the charity
The ideal candidate will not only have an understanding of community fundraising but also corporate fundraising. You will be able to adapt to the different challenges that the role may cause therefore you will also have an understanding of event management.
The role itself will consist of managing and supporting an existing portfolio of corporate partners and core volunteer fundraising groups. As well as this the successful post holder will also be required to support new fundraising initiatives in order to maintain income growth across the area.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the following abilities;
*Well-developed ability to proactively lead, develop and manage relationships with individuals and organisations -both internally and externally to achieve objectives through these relationships
*Excellent communication skills to deliver fundraising pitches, ideas and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
*Ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines often with conflicting priorities
*Proven ability of demonstrating initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomes
*Well-developed ability to successfully negotiate with others to achieve desired outcomes
You must have a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle
