TPP is working with a leading international development charity to recruit for a Community Fundraising Manager to run a £2.5m team of 5. The team aims to not only raise income through community activity but to raise awareness and deepen supporter engagement with the charity as a whole. This post will recruit and retain supporters from schools, faith groups, service organisations and other community and youth groups. There is also a focus on high value relationship management and building relationships with key members of these groups. The Community Fundraising Manager will strategically manage a group of volunteer speakers in order to use the scheme to reach a wider range of audiences.
*Lead on community fundraising relationships activity to reach income targets
*To monitor activity, evaluate and report against plans
*Lead on the development and growth of Peer to Peer fundraising
*Responsible for the strategic development of the schools/young supporters programme
*Manage two Fundraising Officers and one Senior Officer ensuring they are enabled to deliver against agreed objectives and targets. This post will also manage the Community Fundraising Assistant and team volunteers
*Substantial proven experience of community fundraising, particularly establishing and building relationships with community groups, influential individuals and high value partnerships
*Experience leading, managing and motivating a team and providing meaningful feedback on performance
*Experience of managing delivery against annual plans and budgets and monitoring and evaluating activity
*Ability to recognise and develop new fundraising opportunities and experience of developing fundraising plans, budgets and strategy
*Direct marketing experience (desirable)
